Developing a Topic

        For my Archiving the Arts Project I’ll be focusing on related visual arts, more specifically, Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra. It’s important to focus on a topic that really interests you and I really enjoyed watching these shows over the summer. Both are fresh in my mind and have a lot to offer, from the wide range of characters and their arcs to the important themes underlying the action and humor on the surface of the shows. I also will look to research different elements of each series, such as the animation style, music, and connections both share with one another. I’ll be taking all of my notes and keeping my content on google drive to stay organized. I also plan to work on the project every Friday and/or Saturday after finishing the previous modules for the week. I’m feeling more confident with the project after coming up with a solid idea of the topic I want to pursue.

It also focused greatly on the imagination. Literature was to be creative and original as the content came from the author’s own vision.
