Website and Set-Up

After playing around with website formats and creating a few different pages on google sites, I've put together the basic components of what I want to be presented on my website. This was easier than I anticipated and also helps with the organization aspect. By laying out everything in front of me using headers and sections, I have a better idea of the direction I want to head in. I'm leaning more towards exclusively exploring ATLA after finding better articles to support my analysis of its universal themes and resurgence in popularity but won't make the decision just yet. This is my site so far, most of the headers and other information are just temporary placeholders so I know what I want to put where.

  1. Hey Brandon, I agree with you at how surprisingly easy it is to create a website. I was also shocked at how easy it is to use Google Sites to create a website from scratch. I have decided to work on my layout until after I have completed the content that would go on the website. That is how I work best, knowing that I have all the necessary components of the website and then organize it. Good luck with your project!

  2. Hey Brandon, your website looks really good so far, even for it just being in the beginning phase. I also noticed when creating my website it was a lot easier than I expected just like you stated in your blog post. Do you think you're still going to fiddle around with your theme or did you find a layout that fits what you want to create? I feel that we are at a relatively same spot when it comes to what on our website has been developed. I can’t wait to see your finished website and wish you the best of luck.

  3. Brandon, I really like your website so far! Even though you really only have the basics of it put together, yours looks much better than mine haha! I just need to put a little more time and effort into my website, the I am sure that it will all begin to come together. I look forward to seeing more from you!
    Good luck!

  4. Hi Brandon, seeing this post made me so happy! I'm a huge ATLA fan and am happy to see you carry out one of our shared passions in such a cool, concise format. I literally just finished rewatching the original series for the hundredth time this afternoon and I find that every time I watch it I walk away with some a different great life lesson or insight that I didn't even know I needed. Because of this, I think it will be really cool for you to touch on the universal lessons you mentioned in your post. Have you decided if you are going to include Legends of Korra in your website? (I noticed her in one of your images on the site)

  5. Hey Brandon, great post!
So far I really like the look of the site and where it's heading. I agree that just getting the website up and running and being able to put placeholders and other info on it has really helped me better see the direction in which I want to take my project. Great work and good luck!
