Week 8 Website Process
This week I continued to publish some content about my topic as well as revise the critical analysis pieces I had already written. I wrote the introduction piece to The Legend of Korra as I had done with Avatar the week prior. I've decided to explore both works (After being on the fence about it earlier in the project) and believe my intro is a good start to that section. I also changed my layout a little bit, creating a new home page with an introduction to the project itself as well as a works cited section. I've jotted down some of the themes I want to look into for each work, as this is what makes them so great. Both shows have the ability to be appealing to all audiences. There's enough action and humor on the outside as well as deeper meanings and lessons below the surface.
It's a little stressful trying to balance this entire project on top of the other three big final projects I have for other classes that were assigned last week. For me, I try to grind out what needs to be done one day or week at a time instead of worrying about the projects as a whole.
Hey Brandon, I totally agree on the stress overload with all the big projects being assigned! I feel like what works best for me is picking out days that I focus on certain classes, so I am always on top of things! Seeing you already have a good start to your project I feel you are on the right track!
ReplyDeleteWhats up Brandon! First, I wanted to say your website looks great. The works cited section I especially like and think it is a very smart idea. I also wanted to say congrats on not being to stressed out. I know during times like these especially now with the election still in play, final projects are not fun. Especially if you have not one, or two, but three.. Looking at it in small portions is definitely smart, so its good you have good time management skills to keep you focused. I'm excited to see the final product so keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteHello Brandon. The website looks very clean and it seems I am discovering what is possible in google sites which is cool. It can be really stressful trying to juggle time for each of your classes and it seems you have been doing a good job at picking specific classes for specific days in the week. I've been having trouble trying to keep on pace with website stuff but I think if people can juggle around four final projects around and succeed, then I should be able to get stuff for this one while I only have one final project to take care of. I think the final draft will look good so keep going with it.

ReplyDeleteIt seems you're off to a really good start. Your plan seems productive and you don't seem like you'll fall behind but I agree the semester is getting really stressful and all of the assignments are adding up. Just continue to work at this pace and you should be good. Good luck!
